MALAM YAHAYA HAMZA EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION (MYHEF)

THE FOUNDATION DREW UP CRITERIA FOR STUDENTS TO DERIVE BENEFITS AS STIPULATED HERE UNDER: 

ELIGIBILITY AND CRETARIA FOR SPONSORSHIP 

The foundation identified specific group in the society for sponsorship namely;  

A. Physically challenged/Orphans  

B. Vulnerable/Less Privileged 

THE FOUNDATION SET OUT THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA: 

1.  Must be from public school

2.  Must be Nigerian  

3.  Must be a science student or student with TVET in the case of Vulnerable/Less Privilege  

4.  Must have at least 5 credits relevant to his chosen course of study including Maths and English

5.  The result presented would be subjected to verification

REQUIREMENTS FOR ELIGIBILITY   

Physically Challenged/Orphans 

1.  Application for Sponsorship 

2.  Admission Letter 

3.  Indigene Certificate  

4.  Copy of Photograph to justify the Physical Challenge  

5.  Remita Payment Receipt 

6.  Copy of Student Identification Card 

Vulnerable and Less Privileged 

1.  Application for sponsorship justifying inability to pay school fees

2.  Letter of recommendation from Ward Head/Village Head or District Head

3.  Admission Letter  

4.  Remita Receipt  

5.  Copy of Student Identification Card 

6.  Death Certificate (Orphans) 

ELIGIBILITY FOR FURTHER SPONSORSHIP 

For student to enjoy further sponsorship from the foundation, he/she must fulfill the following criteria:  

1.  Must have enjoyed initial sponsorship 

2.  Must present previous semesters results 

3.  Must secured GPA 2.05 and above in the last semester of the session  

4.  Result presented would be subjected to verification to determine the authenticity before further sponsorship

5.  The sponsored students would be monitored from time to time in the course of their studies. Any students found not attending lectures regularly would automatically be sanctioned
