REVIEWED CONDITIONS FOR AWARD OF SCHOLARSHIP

THE CRITICAL GROUP IN SOCIETY THAT ARE ELIGIBLE FOR AWARD OF SCHOLARSHIP FROM THE FOUNDATION. 

a. Physically Challenged and Orphans 

b. Vulnerable/less privileged

1. THE FOLLOWING ARE THE CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBLITY OF SCHOLARSHIP:

Scholarships are given to students who obtain admission into government tertiary institutions. 

Must be Nigerian. 

Must be a Science or Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) course/programme. 

The result presented would be subjected to verification.

2. REQUIREMENTS FOR ELIGIBILITY

 Physically Challenged

a. Application for Sponsorship

b. Admission Letter

c. Indigenization Certificate 

d. Copy of Photograph to justify the Physical Challenge 

e. Remita Payment Receipt

f. Copy of NIN Identification 

Vulnerable/Less Privileged and Orphans

a. Application for sponsorship justifying inability to pay school fees and this would be subject to verification by the staff of the foundation. 

b. Letter from Ward Head/Village Head or District Head. 

c. Indigenization Letter

d. Admission Letter 

e. Remita Payment Receipt 

f. Copy of NIN Identification 

g. Death Certificate (Orphans)

3. ELIGIBILITY FOR PAYMENT OF 

(A) WAEC/NECO/JAMB FEES

1. A candidate must be from public school or Accredited Private School.

2. Must present his/her termly report sheet for second term in SS3, duly signed and stamped by examination master, class master and principal. 

3. The examination centre must be an accredited centre by the State Government Agency concerned. 

4. The student must be subjected to screening by the foundation staff. 

5. For JAMB candidates, all conditions applies except for examination venue which is at the discretion of JAMB office. 

(B) SCHOLARSHIP FOR TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS; UNIVERSITIES AND NBTE ACCREDITED, POLYTECHNICS, NURSING SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES OF EDUCATION

1. The foundation limits its awards to undergraduate courses, in the above tertiary institutions. 

2. Students seeking for the scholarship must be in a science based or vocational course. 

3. Exceptional students who intend to study other courses may be considered.

4. Candidate when applying, must attach his/her O’Level results with minimum of 5 credits including English and Mathematics in addition to his/her course combination.

5. The result presented will be subjected to verification by the foundation through the respective examination bodies.  

6. The candidate must also attach his/her last termly result in SS3 duly signed and stamped by the examination officer, class master and the principal of the school. 

7. Fresh and undergraduate are eligible to apply for the scholarship after fulfilling the requirements. 

8. The scholarship would be granted specifically for students who secure admission in public institutions. 

9. Students in private universities are not eligible to apply. 

10. The foundation only limits it awards of scholarship to the aforementioned categories.  

4. ELIGIBILITY FOR FURTHER SCHOLARSHIP DURING THE UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES

For student to enjoy further sponsorship from the foundation, he/she must fulfill the following criteria: 

i. Must have enjoyed initial sponsorship.

ii. Must present previous semesters results. 

iii. Must secured GPA 2.05 and above in the last semester of the session. 

iv. Result presented would be subjected to verification to determine its authenticity before further sponsorship.

v. The sponsored students would be monitored from time to time in the course of their studies. Any students found not attending lectures regularly would automatically be sanctioned.
